Estimating materials, planning & arranging for resources like equipments, manpower etc for the thermal power project and Process Plants. Project execution, erection and commissioning of 2x185 TPH CFBC Boiler at Action Ispat & Power Ltd and 2x165 TPH CFBC Boiler at Hindalco Power at Jharsuguda. Mr. T V Umakanth is a Graduate Engineer in Electrical and Electronics and having 30 years of rich experience in project management and operations & maintenance of thermal power plants. Extensive experience in application engineering and erection, testing, pre-commissioning & commissioning of all electrical and control & instrumentation systems of boiler & turbine generator (BTG) and electrical balance of plant (EBOP) of power plants and CFBC & AFBC boilers and auxiliaries like ESPs and coal & ash handling systems. Sound technical knowledge of all electrical equipment of BTG, EBOP, ESP and auxiliary units, PLC, DCS & SCADA control, protective relays, governors & turbine controls and vibration monitoring systems and is well versed with modern engineering & construction methods, project management techniques and all applicable codes and standards.
